A cluster of European and British units cooperating in Arma
A collective of groups of friends sharing simple, structured, and adaptive joint operations.
Each unit’s identity is preserved through pre-planned and coordinated gaming sessions.
With a detailed briefing published seven days in advance, interactions between the volunteer operation leader and the game master remove any technical ambiguity and refine strategy according to mission type.

Entertain
Refine the balance between playability, user-friendliness and realism.
Diversify
Vary the game environments, roles played, terrain and objectives.
Evolve
Maintain an open mind and listen to criticism in order to evolve over time.
A tactical coordination environment
The importance of the Game Master’s role
Ensuring coherence
of the forces involved in the scenario as well as the objectives.
Balancing forces
between AI actions and clear, straightforward objectives across Arma 3, Reforger, and hopefully soon Arma 4.
Clarity
Simple instructions and diverse action possibilities.
Everything that can be prepared in advance is anticipated to ensure a smooth start for all players and to deliver the best of the Arma experience — with optimal immersion and rhythm.
Discovering the Arma universe may seem complex at first glance, but there will always be members happy to answer questions from newcomers or anyone wishing to learn more about a specific technical aspect such as lead, piloting, JTAC communication, etc. Everyone can also choose a role according to the level of responsibility that suits them. Testing your mods before a mission is strongly recommended, otherwise you risk missing the start!

Immersive Arma Cooperative Missions
GESE perks
Each group has its own unique playstyle
Different technical approaches
We seek immersion through a balance between realism and dynamic action, without resorting to cinematic sensationalism. Hollywood tends to portray a hero receiving extraordinary individual attention. In cooperative gameplay, however, all members are equal in the unfolding events. A 'one-man-army' or static coverage of an empty zone serves neither the game master’s goals nor the players. If you don't like Arma, it's because you haven't found the good unit yet!
Valeurs
From the publication of a mission briefing seven days before the event, the available slots are opened for registration. At this stage, players may select their role and confirm their attendance.
Each participant is free to choose a slot according to their preferences, with the sensible expectation of considering the responsibility involved. The game master may, however, restrict certain roles in order to retain oversight of the mission.
The group defines itself, among other things, by its adaptability, particularly between the French-speaking and English-speaking units, each using its respective language internally.
As in NATO, interoperability is a key principle for joint operations. Units therefore follow shared directives and common methods. Mastery of both languages is not required, but remains an important skill for pilots, JTACs and radio operators.
With the aim of growth and collective progress, the sharing of knowledge is strongly encouraged. Any questions and requests for specific training are always welcome.
An induction session provides a common foundation within a few minutes, but going into detail requires additional time. Specific topics may be covered by coordinators with the appropriate expertise.
The notion of difficulty is entirely relative to the countless parameters of Arma and the ACE mod. The type of mission nevertheless makes it possible to establish a framework.
Generally, a group that has time to coordinate will find a mission relatively straightforward. However, the mission context does not always permit this, and that is precisely what makes it so engaging! The ability to adapt and to assess risks will be the true challenge. In all cases, teamwork and good play will always be valued during the mission.
