Active community: There would never be that much content and active players without it.
There is still a shit load of weapons, vehicles, new maps and scripts coming on Arma 3.
VBS3, is renowned by world armies for its quality. Furthermore, flying vehicles made Arma 3 iconic in early versions... Yes could be technically annoying but worth a good laugh in the middle of a stressful situation. No other gameplay needs more teamwork than MilSim.
Combining AI Skill, Ace Medical settings affects the rhythm. Detection, precision, LambsDanger information sharing. Dynamism & explosively, or slow mission (milsim) is a choice of settings if you are brave enough to dive in the options.
Modern Warfare, WW2, Vietnam, Cold War, Star Wars, Warhammer, Metro 2033 are so many different ambients you can immerse yourself in thanks to community mods.
Being medic, engineer, vehicle crew, AT rifleman, squad leader, drone operator, artillery man, logistic guy, all role is a choice offered in our missions so everyone is dedicated to its task.
There will always be something you did not planned to force the squad leader to make decision under stress (or not).
You never know what chaos may arise.
Each mission is something different when there is a Zeus around.
Also, AI remote control and having custom Zeus modules (Zeus enhanced) makes a pleasant moment to be a Zeus. Specially when you have time to capture some traveling.
Mission maker can write their own scripts and realise the most specific players wishes.
For example, if players needs to care about their life, set a limit of respawn by player. Or lose your lives will end you to spectating mode.
If you're bored of rushing B, you should consider trying Arma 3 because elaborating strategy, checking topography and choosing your approach are crucial subjects for big scale objectives.
Going straight forward would result of chaos among the squad.
You can draw on the map to illustrate your briefings.
Being alone limits your visibility around. You can not carry an arsenal on yourself and it is unlikely that one has the knowledge to use all the equipment in the game.
Weights and diversity of assets encourage cooperation.
Having others squads around, vehicles, air support, drones etc are a lot of content to interact with in an immersive and realistic gameplay.
Cooperation is communication, you'll never realise it better than in Arma 3 if you use TFAR or ACRE
What is exciting in Arma is how you work with your team mates more than achieving objectives. A good indicator is that after debrief, the discussion always turns around improving the next mission.
It never ends getting better.
It's what it is all about. No fake rewards, no fake medals, no race for unlocking equipment.
As a player, pick your ambient, get your loadout and all the rest is pure cooperation.
